Why is Bud's requesting an FFL when I do not need one? I ordered a black powder revolver. Black powder firearms (or antiques) are not regulated by the ATF, and in the state I live in, black powder firearms are exempt from the laws regulating rimfire firearms. A license is not required for purchase or possession of black powder firearms in the state I live. I can buy the same gun for cheaper money, but I would have to travel two hours. It is more convenient for Bud's to send it to me.

Tab, I would recheck your state laws. If BUDs is asking for FFL info that is probably needed in your state. BUDs can clarify at  1-859-368-0371
