I just bought the Ruger 9mm carbine which will use both the Ruger mags and the Glock mags. I just bought some Glock mags for it, because I have a Glock Model 19 and would like the interchangeable mags. But now I am having second thoughts because the Ruger mags are steel and the Glock mags are composite. What does the community think? Shall I go with the Glock mags are Ruger? Are they equally reliable? Thanks.

I would go with the glock mags just to be able to use the mags in both the carbine and the handgun. I don't find steel mags to be any better than composite if dropped steel bends, composite cracks either way the mag would then be bad

Raul, They are equally reliable and the Glock magazines are Steel lined with the protective polymer exterior so no worries going with what you already have. Cheers!
