as far as I know there are no widespread issues with the gun or mag just like any product you could have my luck and get one that has a problem but if you do savage will take care of it for you

Derrick, this reviewer probable got a batch of magazines that were not assembled correctly. I have seen the magazine spring not properly attached to the follower. Just disassemble and make sure it is fully snapped on the follower spring notch and viola! Cheers! This will resolve a large portion of feeding issues. Savage would be the next step for resolution/replacement if this does not correct the feeding issue.

Derrick, No problems. Somebody could have put a click bait review up, but this Savage rifle is a quality set up all around.
