Most full size 1911's fit me pretty well and I have pretty big mitts.... I wear XXL shooting gloves and wear a size 12 ring, if that helps. Also there are "thick and thin" size grip panels that can help you fine tune the fit a little. You can also change the main spring housing from flat to curved if you want .... the curved making for a bigger grip.

Brian, The Taurus 1911 is a good gun if you want the 1911 platform. Large hands or not.

Brian, the Taurus or any other 1911 Series will fit large hand individuals like a glove. I have relatively large hands and the 1911 is ergonomically excellent. A gun that is comfortable to you is highly likely to be shot well bu you.
