The FFL will help you with the background process not Buds Gun Shop. You get your gun after they get clearance of your approval. The FF I will and you will do paperwork.
David, your local selected FFL will handle all your paperwork and facilitate your firearm pickup Sir. They will charge a transfer fee which usually runs between $25 to $40 depending on FFL.
