I just bought several boxes and I noticed that these seem dirty/tarnished. I would expect the copper to tarnish, but Hornady claims the nickel will not tarnish. Should I be concerned? If they misfire on the range that's one thing,but I bought these for self defense. Anyone experience this?

Matt, the ones I received a couple of weeks ago were fine. This could be an old batch. They should be fine but I would verify function and let Buds and Hornady know. Hornady may replace them.Cheers and stay safe!
