all firearms have to go to a FFL

All guns (outside of Curio & Relic) MUST go through an FFL. Most gun stores (if still open) will handle the transfer for a fee. Look at the FAQs for more specifics pertaining to Bud's pickup policies.

Matthew, only certain Black Powder guns can be shipped directly to your home. Other firearms cannot by Federal Law and must be transferred through an FFL dealer. If you are a resident of the State of a Buds Store you can pick up all firearms and if not, only long guns. Buds Customer Service can clarify pickup details but, as you know, they are having contact, logistical and order issues due to COVID-19. You just have to keep trying to contact them via Live Chat since their phone 1-859-368-0371 is currently not manned. I wish I had something concrete to tell you Sir. Being customers the same as yourself, we cannot give you an answer. Buds will have to pull it together and get their many issues resolved. Hope they do soon. Stay safe and Cheers!
