Made first firearm purchase online and directed it to be shipped to me locally. Was turned down from my pickup due to my address being different on my license than my current address due to a recent move. My wife was able to get her license updated, but I haven't and the state shut down the driving license places. Is my wife able to go in with me and do the paper work in her name so we can get the gun we paid for already??

Andrew, No your kinda screwed until you can get a current accurate drivers license. To be a responsible gun owner you got to take care of stuff like that. See if you can update your license address on your states online DMV service.

I would see if the FFL will hold the gun for you I assume you changed states. I would also see if there is a online provision to get your DL changed I know when I was active Military my out osf state license and my military orders would work to buy guns in the state I was stationed in
