i own a few various pistols. a s&w sdve .40 cal,a g2 taurus 9mm,and a phoenix .22,wife owns a ruger lc9s. i dont want to purchase a gun that barely fits my hand,my others are double stacked and are ok.i want a great grouping more accurate 9,im sure like this 1 .will this be too large?too wide?

the grip size is about the same as any other compact double stack 9mm so you will not have any problems

Chris, rather than guess, I would visit a local Gun Store and check sizes for fit to your hand to be sure. Three different folks with 3 different hand sizes will give you 3 different answers. Only your hand size counts. Cheers and stay safe Sir!

I own this pistol and it's size is quite easy for those of us who have medium to small size hands... (shorter than the Glock 19 and virtually the same width)for those with larger hands the "pinky" extension makes for a full grip.
The FN9C's 12 round capacity makes it a better choice than the single stack models.  And it's only slightly thicker!
Plus the included 17 rounder is great for leaving on the nightstand 😎
