for a weaver mount what size scope ring should i use for this, this is my first time mounting one of these and im not sure what height scope rings i should get. i see that the diameter of the tube size is 1" so im assuming i should get 1" rings but i have no idea what to look for with height.

A good height should be 1.5" above the bore to the center line of  the scope Wayne.
