I would imagine so. This has been extensively tested at normal ranges and extended ranges and considerably outshines the Optima's accuracy. Reviews are quite positive. The Optima is by no means an accuracy slouch but better is better.

Yeah, its like Captain Crunch cereal vs King Krunch store brand cereal, both are good but one is much better. To me, I'd opt for the lower cost rifle. But if you're going hardcore and or need every advantage you can get, its worth it.
