In NJ we have a 10 round magazine restriction, if we purchase a handgun from Buds that has 17 round magazines, will Buds be willing to swap the 17 round for 10 round magazines?

while they will not swap it We have been told  that buds will ship with NO Magazine if that is the only reason that a gun is non- compliant you would need to Contact Buds customer service  available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday or use the blue chat now button and they will help you with the order . We are not buds employees we are volunteers that answer questions

Robert, I have heard from other members that if magazine capacity is the ONLY state restriction that some Buds personnel have offered to remove/replace magazines. I would contact Buds Customer Service to see whether or not they will at the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
