Brian, I would first do a basic field strip and make sure the firing pin is not blocked and reassemble and see if you get the click with dry firing. I would then try firing live ammunition again. Remington Customer Service can advise and arrange service for you at TEL: 1-800-243-9700

If you're not good with guns take it to an FFL to take a look at it.
