I seen a video of this gun and the video shows that the lady's gun had a little envelope with a spent cartridge. She didn't say anything about other than a spent cartridge. What was that? Does this come with that? Did they test fire it? So is it used?

They come with a test fire from the factory as part of their quality control. The envelope shows a date, tester, caliber, serial number, model, etc. no, it is not a used firearm. It was my pleasure to assist you.

Richard, most every firearm is factory test fired to verify factory function. Many handgun manufacturers place a spent shell casing with the handgun more as a help to law enforcement to help identify firearms that are stolen or used in crimes. Again, some do and some don't. I keep all mine in a separate location than the handgun. The firearm has technically been fired but is still new as after factory testing for quality control, it it sealed and distributed for sale. It is technically used but still new and becomes used after sale just like cars.

The ONLY reason that manufacturers included fired cases in sealed and signed envelopes, was because the State of Maryland was attempting to build a reference library of matching casings to guns, in the event they were used in a crime. many manufacturers still provide that case even though MD has stopped the program
