Randy, yes Sir, this is a Thompson/Center Factory Short Action Magazine for Caliber: .243 Winchester, .308 Winchester. The 7mm-08 is basically a "necked down" . 308 to accept the slimmer 7mm bullet. In all other dimensions the cartridges are virtually identical. It will fit fine.

yes the 7mm-08 is a short action round and will work just fine in this magazine
