Under the frist view of the Taurus G2C 9 mm it says SA w/Restrike and under the Specs. it says double action. I am really confused if it has a cartridge in the chamber all you have to do is pull the trigger so even though it's striker fired it is still considered double action? Right then why does it state SA w/Restrike doesn't that say single action. Someone explain to me why striker fired isn't an action unto itself? What ever I am even confusing my self and I own a striker fired Remington

It is more like a DA in that the trigger Pulls back and releases the striker with a SA you would have to pull back the striker (rack The slide ) before the trigger would release the striker a striker fire gun  is not really a single action or a double action in a single action gun the trigger releases the cocked hammer the round fires and the action of the gun recockes it again for the next shot in a Double action the hammer starts in a down position and the trigger pull brings the hammer back and releases it to fire the gun a striker fired gun  does not have a hammer but has a firing pin that is under tension and the trigger releases the firing pin to strike the primer the gun fires and the action cycles resetting the firing pin to be ready for the next shot  some act more like a DA (restrike) and some more like a SA
