If I purchase a firearm using credova, does it immediately ship to the selected ffl or do they wait until the final payment is made?

Andrew, once approved it is shipped immediately. There is a shipping delay for obvious reasons so expect up to 10 to 15 days. Cheers and you and yours stay safe!

in normal times yes it would go to the shipping department and ship in 3-5 days now  it will go to the shipping department and be subject 10-15 days delay in shipping
