Need help. What is the size of Hammerli Tac R1 with stock fully closed forward. I want to buy a tactical case and not sure to go 36" or 42". The description states the rifle is just under 36", but does not say if that is with the buttstock fully extended for maximum length. Please advise if possible. TIA.

Richard, fully closes this rifle is 34.70 inches fully closed Sir. Make sure your case has a 36" inner length as most cases have approximately 1.5 to 2 inches less space than their listed outer length. 38 inch outer length case would probably be best though.
