Left handed firearms are usually noted as such in the description and you can't go by the picture as the orientation does not necessarily denote whether left or right hand. 95% of firearms are right hand oriented. Many RH models can be fired by left hand folks with just a little adjustment. No need to be sorry as everyone starts out as a beginner. Cheers and stay safe!

The pictures are generally just stock images provided by manufacturers and don't usually indicated right/left handedness. Nearly all handguns are designed for right hand operation but may have ambidextrous features or controls that can be swapped to either side. Some manufacturers offer specifically left-handed shotguns or bolt action rifles but that information is usually pretty clear in the title/description so I would not go by the pictures.

no that has no bearing on if it is a left or right handed gun it just depends on which side the manufacturer took a picture of as buds uses stock photos while may right handed guns are shot by leftys some styles are harder for a lefty to shoot well. a bolt action rifle would be almost impossible for a lefty to get off a fast 2nd shot but a Pump or auto action is not as big a problem. the biggest issues on most guns will be is the safety usable by a lefty
