yes it can be converted to 10MM you will need a barrel (fitted) and a recoil spring (22lb) I sent mine to RIA and they did the conversion for me now I can switch between 10mm and 40S&W by changing the barrel and spring and I am still covered by the RIA warranty If I remember correctly it was less than $200.00 for the parts and fitting

Dan, if you already have the pistol, yes it can with a barrel and recoil spring minimum of 20lb. If you do not have the pistol yet, since there are so many 40S&W level downloaded 10mm ammunition available, I would just get the 10mm version and save the expense.
