Mike, there is a small difference of half and inch. Only if you are going to add a suppressor or muzzle brake in the future would you need a threaded barrel model. Even then you could get the non threaded barrel model and buy just the threaded barrel as it only takes seconds to swap them out. The non threaded model is slightly easier to conceal carry.
