Yes it is CA approved as a pump it is legal with the Detachable mag https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf

Jaymar, yes Sir it is CA compliant as Pump Shotguns do not carry the same restrictions as Semi-Auto Shotguns under CA regulations : Details under Shotguns here : https://www.budsgunshop.com/feeds/state_reg/california_restrictions.pdf
