With the coronavirus shutting down the dmv, how would one go about purchasing a gun without having the option to update their drivers license? Would mail or another document showing place of residence, name etc be valid? Or should we wait until they open back up in may?

If your current motor vehicle registration is updated with your current address that can be used as a secondary supplemental identification. State issued concealed carry licenses can be used if they reflect your current residence. But to be safe call your dealer.
