I emailed Traditions and Pietta, but got no response. Are these rated for full magnum loads? Not Core-Bond or Buffalo Bore, but just regular 240 grain 1100 fps loads? I've heard SAA frames can't handle a lot of pressure. Elmer Kieth famously blew up an SAA with hot loads in a SAA.

The revolver is listed as .44 mag.  Can you imagine the lawsuit if it will not handle factory loads.  If it was not rated for magnum loads, it would be listed as .44 special.
