Ruger website says the barrel's rate of twist is 1:8.5". But, other places list it 1:9.5". The specs on Bud's doesn't list it. What say all of you?

Eric, I would expect Ruger to be subject matter experts in all things Ruger and would side with their specifications with their own rifles. Cheers and you and yours stay safe!

Eric, the Ruger American Model 6906 with the 22" barrel that you originally referenced has the 1:9.5" twist.  The Ruger American Compact Model 6909 with an 18" barrel has a 1:8.5" twist. Hope this helps!
