if you add a rifle stock to the rattler it becomes a Short barrel rifle (SBR) and will require NFA paperwork and tax stamp. you can add a pistol brace with no paperwork (you can put brace against shoulder)

Jason, you would need to pay a $200 Tax Stamp and register it as an NFA firearm. You can add a Brace without going through this and still be able to shoulder the firearm.
