What is the difference between the Hunter and the Scout? I am very interested in a lower priced single shot in .450BM and although the Hunter is not being produced in 2020 by CVA, it is still available in gun shops. There is a little over $100 price difference between the two and wondered if the higher cost of the V2 was really worth it?

Russ, The differences are the Scout is stainless and has a fluted barrel, Hunter is blued. Scout has a KDF Brake and 23" (25" w/brake) of usable barrel, Hunter has the full 25" barrel. Scout has the trigger guard breeching lever, Hunter has breeching lever in front of trigger guard.
