I bought a gun from buds this month on the 12. After I bought my gun I contact my ffl dealer and they told me to come in and do paperwork for them to get my background check going. I was wondering if I had to send my food card to buds or does my ffl dealer send it to them.

Nope, that is part of the background check/transfer process on your end and does not involve Buds as they are just sending a gun to a dealer. Should all take place with your FFL

George, no, your local FFL only will need your FOID Card. They will facilitate your entire transfer. Cheers ans stay safe!

they don't need your FOID card for a firearm that will be verified by your local FFL now if you want to buy ammo to be delivered to your home Buds would then need a copy of your FOID
