Mutz, they are equally reliable and accuracy is a toss up with the slight edge going to the AR Family. It really is a personal preference as they are 2 different platforms performing the same function. With that being said, I own both but find myself shooting my Galil, H&K G2 and Cetme more often than my AR's. Cheers and stay safe!
