Jim, Most semi auto shotguns are gonna be ammo picky. Some JTS M12AK owners have had no issues. Gonna have to figure out what you gun will handle and what it won't. Slugs or buckshot should function fine. Low brass birdshot could continue to be a problem.
Jim, many have reported a couple hundred round break in period with high brass loads for the first 100rds and then tapering down with high brass bird loads then finally low brass. After this, just ditch whatever is still giving cycling issues which will likely be low brass bulk shells. Notice how it gets more reliable in this shooting video towards the end : -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqudtKQPrzQ
