Why was I charged an extra $9 to NOT insure my products (night sites & magazine). I only had the other option of $10 to insure it. If I didn't want to insure it, shouldn't that be no charge?

$9 shipping, $10 if you wanted insured for an extra $1. Shipping on non-firearm items is always $9 minimum

Charles, $9 is the min. shipping charge. You can always order the free shipping option items when you place $199 order of free shipping option items or of course firearms ship free.

Charles, $9 is the minimal shipping charge. Buds charges $1 per $100 order value for insurance Sir. If you declined insurance, and your $1 was deducted, there is no issue. $1 is a minuscule price for order safety. Cheers and stay safe!
