Is it legal and possible to order a rifle from a website and have it shipped in a relative's name to a licensed dealer in their town for them to do the background and pick it up? Todd, no Sir. It would be best to purchase a Buds Gift Card in the total purchase amount and have you relative purchase in their own name. Cheers and stay safe!

Todd, Bad idea. What you described is illegal. Best to get BUDs gift card for the amount of the purchase. You can get on the phone and help him order, select FFL, and pay with gift card together. Both log in to BGS.com and face time or talk over the phone when your lucky relative gets their gift.
