I considering buying the Heritage ROUGH RIDER .22 LR 6.5 Black Pearl Grip. I am wanting to know since the gun doesn't meet the requirements of the melting point law if that actually matters? Because meet the requirements of the melting point law will this cause defects to the gun or other issues? I'm just looking for an inexpensive revolver to shoot with.

i have bought 2 of them golden horseshoe 22LR and buck skin 22LR and came with a 22mag also its good quality.

if your state does not have a melting law get the Rough rider and enjoy it 22lr and 22mag guns do not need a steel frame. the melting laws were put in place to stop "Saturday night specials" from being sold in those states  The RRis a quality firearm and will give you years of enjoyment
