Depends on what state you live in, and your state, and local laws. I live in MN. In MN you would need a handgun buy permit, or a license to carry a pistol permit. Some states you can't even own this rifle, and some states you can't have a 30 rd mag.

The short answer is no if your location does not have any restriction on this rifle as configured. Ownership will always be determined by local rules and regulations.

As long as this rifle is legal in your state, you need no special permit or license to own it. God Bless America right!
