Just talked to my FFL and he says ownership/possession is legal in Illinois unless you are in Cook Co. (Chicago is there), Highland Park, Or Aurora. My FFL owns this Scorpion pistol. I will check with a second FFL just to be safe.

John, Your FFL is correct. This firearm is not legal in the localities he listed. A licensed FFL depending on level of license may be able to possess firearms the general gun owner can not.
