Joel, Yes your A-5 should be chambered to handle 3" shells. So no problem shooting these rounds. May not cycle semi-auto. May have to shoot 1 at a time.

Joel, this model would have a 2.75 inch chamber. This shell uses a roll crimp which is substantially longer than your older A5 chamber. Modern shotguns have more (forgive space) in the chamber.
