Hi. Other answers are accurate as far as they go. You wrote "Any other license or background check?" I'm assuming you realize that when you go to the FFL dealer who has received your gun(s) it's necessary to complete the same paperwork and Federal background check as if you were buying from the dealer's stock. You can visit the NRA-ILA website to learn if Nevada has any other requirements. If Nevada law allows cities or counties to make additional firearms laws you would have to check with the local sheriff or P.D. The disclaimers always say "It is your responsibility to check with your state Attorney General's Office" to learn how much they will or won't infringe upon your right to keep and bear arms. One other point, you made reference to "...the closest gun store." The delivery can be to any FFL dealer within the state of Nevada. Different dealers charge different transfer fees for such a transaction so you might want to shop that around before declaring one.
