yes from the owners manual "On the Hammerli TAC R1 22 the buttstock can be adjusted in its length. Pushing the buttstock latch allows the buttstock to be adjusted to various lengths. To fully separate the adjustable stock from the buffer tube, press the latch till a click noise appears. leslie, Yes the buttstock will come off. Instructions are in your owners manual.
Yup as with most on AR platforms this is completely modular and can be swapped out for the stock of your choosing
