My local range won't let me shoot the Tula FMJ ammo because it has a steel jacket (they won't let you shoot anything that doesn't pass a magnet test on the bullet, but they don't care about the casing). Do these have a brass jacket and lead core? Will they pass a magnet test?

They will fail a magnet test.

These have a Bi-Metal Jacket (Partially Steel) and will fail the magnet test. You will need to look for the "Wolf Gold" Line 308 that is brass cased with FMJ or SP..
