I tend to keep durable firearms for decades, and during hunting seasons, I put many rounds through them.  Is  the Chiappa 12 gauge over/under a durable and reliable shotgun?

Michael, yes Sir it is. I have had a Chiappa Shotgun for 8 hunting seasons and at least 1400 rounds of various loads. I maintain my firearms religiously and have not experienced one issue other than accidentally snipping the web of my strong hand when the action snapped shut catching myself almost slipping off a deer stand.
