sorry it would not be CA legal as it would have the model number of the 15 round mag gun and that MODEL number will not be on the CA DOJ approved list removing/changing the mag does not change the model number that the FFL will have to put on the transfer paper work
If it is not on the list of approved handguns for CA it is not.
Eric, it would be CA compliant without the 15 round magazines. I have heard from other members that if magazine capacity is the ONLY state restriction that some Buds personnel have offered to remove/replace magazines. I would contact Buds Customer Service to see whether or not they will at 1-859-368-0371 9am-9pm EST Mon-Fri. or use the Blue Chat now button at the bottom right corner 9am to 9pm Mon - Sat and 9am to 7pm Sunday.
As a California resident, I can assure you it is not compliant with that magazine. Without it, yes. All gen 3 Glocks are California compliant. It was my pleasure to assist you.
