Dayana, There are no safety issues with this semi-auto rim fire rifle. Very safe. No inspection needed. Dayana, Buy the rifle. Read the manual. Get some instruction. The gun will not go off by itself. You must chamber a round, have safety off and pull the trigger to fire one round. The gun will cycle and you will have to pull the trigger to fire another round. To stop. Put the safety on. Pull magazine. Clear the chamber. The safety your concerned with is between your ears. Follow the 4 rules of firearm safety (google it) and you will be just fine.
Dayana, Smith and Wesson took care of these reported issues almost 2 years ago. These newer models are safe and have no recently reported issues by owners. The model is sound, accurate and reliable with proper firearms handling techniques. As Australians say, No Worries Mate!
S&W sent out a gauge to check the depth of the dished section of the bolt. the issue was some bolts did not have enough clearance and when they got dirty the rim fire round would fire when the bolt slammed home the new guns all have the upgraded correctly machined bolts
