8.75lbs of pull
OAL = 39.5 - Trigger Pull = 8.75 lbs --- The Mossberg 500 / 835 & Maverick 88 Trigger Spring Kit will reduce your trigger pull from a factory weight of 8.75 lbs to a modified weight of 4.75 lbs.
Mossberg Shotguns 500 / 835 & Maverick 88 Trigger Spring Kit says it will reduce it to about 4.5lbs of pull.
It is 39.5 inches in length, trigger pull probably about 7 lbs. Own one and I don't know. You can look here: http://www.mossberg.com/product/maverick-88-security-31023/
Few understand how much difference a trigger weight makes in accuracy on a 12ga. To me a 12ga trigger is a deal breaker. I hate that insanely long anticipation of boom that lasts so long I come off target. But I'm not as solid of a man as I use to be. 8.75lbs is stiff, but I've shot some at 11-12lbs.
