In that case, do I have to pay fees and sales tax to them when I pick it up?

Ammunition can ship to you, unless you live in the following cities:

1. Los Angeles
2. Sacramento
3. San Francisco

If you live in one of those cities, ammunition must ship to a dealer. Otherwise, it will ship directly to the customer. The only cost would be the item and the shipping costs.

As Courtney said,  as long as you don't live in those areas...BUT, beginning of 2018 you will need to have it sent to an FFL. So stock up!
