Hi Pat, unfortunately the only way will be through Serial Number verification through Beretta. You can try calling Buds to see if they are willing to provide this at (859) 368-0371 (available 9AM to 9PM EST Monday through Friday).

Not without a serial# and if you call Buds for this, they say the same and that they can't give you a serial#. So the best gauge is by reading the reviews. It really seems like its pot luck too. But you can always refuse the transfer if the one you get isn't up to snuff.
