Its gotta be because shooting illustrated has gen 1 trigger pull at 8.5lbs. Truth about guns had it over 7lbs. So if this one is 5-6lb pull, its gotta be the improved Gen 2.
ARES list Gen 1 trigger pull at 8.8lbs of pull weight. That's way heavier then the 5-6lb pull on this one.
