Joseph, You can do whatever you want, but an offset red dot optic on this Primary Arms optic is a waste of time and money in my opinion. Your 1 to 6 SLX FFP is very quick to get to 1 power for quick, close shots. Quicker then turning your rifle sideways and catching your red dot for quick, close shots.
Joseph, all 45 degree offsets will basically be the same angle Sir. The 45 should clear the turrets no issue. The Primary arm is a 1x6 and the one power is almost as quick as a red dot. They do make 90 degree off sets if you are determined to add a separate red dot : - https://www.amazon.com/Profile-Tactical-Picatinny-Weaver-Degree/dp/B007AO0SPQ/ref=pd_sim_200_1/138-0207087-9393203?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B007AO0SPQ&pd_rd_r=95633e6b-040b-4eff-b194-a0627d541c93&pd_rd_w=tcfap&pd_rd_wg=Pk9dF&pf_rd_p=3c412f72-0ba4-4e48-ac1a-8867997981bd&pf_rd_r=XNXCW700XAG24DEW0MRX&psc=1&refRID=XNXCW700XAG24DEW0MRX
