Avery, No this Model: 31729 does not come optic ready, but Model: 31728 STR-9 Optic Ready that came out this year 2020 does come optic ready with 4 optic mounting plates. Out of stock everyplace I looked that listed them.

No this model is not. But it is being sold at a great price point that saves you money so you can afford to take it and get the slide milled. I have heard some really good reviews on this pistol. Stay safe and have a great day!!
