Close it will be fine. At distance it will drop more.
Ernest, at normal handgun ranges, 44 special will print approximately 1 to 1 and a half inches higher than the same grain 44 magnum load. This is true of most dual handgun rounds. The slower bullet is in the barrel longer and exits at a slightly delayed point in the recoil process (barrel tilted up slightly more). Further out it will have more drop than the 44 Magnum. Accuracy is fairly on par between both rounds. Cheers and stay safe!
Ernest, Accuracy is all up to whomever is holding the revolver. All 44 Special is just fine in the 44 Mag chambered revolvers.
