Thd Sig Sauer Spartan 1911 is a Nice looking firearm, and should serve you very well, Federal makes fine ammo whether for selfdeffense Federal .45 ACP 230 gr HST (hollow points) or range ammo Federal Champion or American Eagle (also made by federal, but likely to be a couple bucks cheaper) are solid choices to get in training. I would also suggest CCI as a solid ammo choice Speer gold dot for deffensive and Blazer Brass for T&P (target practice). You also asked where you can learn more about this ammo federal website would be a good place to start, pew pew tactical is a great site with lots of good info and product reviews. Alot of solid YouTube 2A reviewers out there too, Hickock45, the honest outlaw, Mr Guns N gear, shooting the Bull( that one is ammo only and some of the videos are older but still relevant) Pew pew tactical article on 45acp ammo https://www.pewpewtactical.com/best-45-acp-ammo-home-defense-practice/ Happy shooting
Anthony, This is brass cased ammo. Federal makes great stuff for any caliber and purpose. This will work fine in your 1911. I would buy whatever ammo I could find as this time if I needed it. Hope you belong to Team Buds if you want to buy this ammo.
